Wash off any dirt and grease with detergent, eliminate mildew stains with BEHR No. 62 Multi-Surface Deck-Prep Cleaner & Mildew Stain Remover.
Countersink nailheads, repair imperfections and sand smooth.
Remove all dust with a damp cloth, allow to dry. |

Use product when surface and air temperatures are between 50° - 90°F (10-32ºC).
Use a high quality 3/8"-1/2" nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (.015 spray tip).
Coverage is 250 to 400 sq. ft. (23-37 m²) per gallon depending on the surface texture, porosity and application method.
Stir occasionally. Do not thin if using a roller or brush; however, if using a sprayer and thinning is required, thin with water at a rate of no more than 1/2 pint per gallon.
Spot prime patched areas first, follow with a complete primer coat.
Bright or deep colors require a tinted primer. Have this product tinted close to topcoat color with no more than 3 ounces of colorant per gallon.
For "stain-blocking" or over previously painted surfaces, use BEHR No.75 Enamel Undercoater Primer & Sealer.
